Wow! It’s hard to believe that it has been a month since my last update.
I have been chipping away at the Kickstarter orders, albeit a bit more slowly that I had hoped (still on schedule, though!), and prepping for upcoming shows, too!
I will be attending the Apple Butter Festival in Berkeley Springs, WV this weekend ~ October 8th and 9th. My booth is located directly on the main parade route (Washington St.), on the sidewalk, with my back to City Park.
I will be bringing 2017 Literary Cats Calendars with me, and hopefully some coloring pages as well. I wasn’t able to complete the mini originals that I had planned to bring, but I do hope to paint some in time for the holidays.
Calendars are now in-stock and available to purchase through my web store and via Etsy. I also have my coloring page packs listed on Etsy and in my webshop. Included are 12 popular designs (including Bastet, CleoCatra, and my Pirate Cats) printed on premium vellum sheets, measuring 8″x10″ ~ they can popped into frames when you are finished coloring them! :)
If you live near Seattle, my 78Tarot: Carnival painting, “Six of Cups” (a.k.a. Circus Cats), will be in a month-long art show at Eight & Sand gallery, in Georgetown.
It is a 16″x20″ acrylic painting on gallery wrapped canvas. It will be priced at $900, and will be listed on the gallery website for purchase after the show opening. Inquiries can be made to Alexandria Sandlin using this form.
The show opening is from 6pm-9pm during the Georgetown Art Attack! “Come out for wine, snacks, music and some lovely fall atmosphere.” :)

“Miss Coneflower” in an 8″x10″ frame, displayed with purple coneflowers.
My fairy cat painting, “Miss Coneflower”, is still available from Art At the Hall (located in Aberdeen, Scotland). Originally part of the “El Gato” cat art show, Miss Coneflower can be purchased by messaging Anita Inverarity through their group Facebook page.
She is a 5″x7″ acrylic painting on a canvas panel, and is framed and priced at 120 GBP / $152 US Dollars. Anita ships worldwide; please contact her for a shipping quote.
“Julius Caesar”, “Juliet Capulet”, and “Hamlet” are all up for auction at the 11th annual “Art For the Animals” charity auction, to benefit Guiding Eyes For the Blind; all proceeds from the sale of artwork in the blind auction is donated to the charity. These acrylic paintings, like all the pieces donated to AFTA, measure 5″x7″ and are professionally framed by Howards’ staff.
I was sadly unable to attend the opening reception of “Art For the Animals”, due to being out of town last Saturday, but I hope to stop into Howards’ Arts and Frames tomorrow to check out the 208 submissions they received, and post pictures of them on display.
Bidding will run through the 22nd of October. They will NOT be accepting phone-in bids this time around. If you do not live near Hagerstown, MD, and wish to bid on any of my pieces, please let me know… I may be able to place a bid on your behalf.
I currently have a few originals available, including “Pandora”, “Little Women”, “Bastet”, and my newest piece, “A Roaring New Year’s” (pictured above), a 7″x9″ acrylic painting on a wooden plaque. They are all listed here on my website… or alternatively, you can purchase my paintings through Etsy. Of course, prints are available as well. :)
I am still working on commissioned Flower Fairy Cats for my Kickstarter backers this month, and hope to have new art to share soon.
Thank you for following!
